# Megapot Gold

Megapot Gold lets partners purchase Gold tickets for a campaign, track each round, and receive winnings automatically after settlement.

This product includes hands-on support. Access is provisioned by the Megapot team. There is a staging environment and a production environment.

## How Gold tickets work

Each underlying Megapot ticket is divided into 10 Gold shares. Each share is a Gold ticket.

* Non-jackpot prizes are divided equally among the 10 shares.
* For jackpot prizes, the share that matches the round's winning Gold Ball receives 91%. Each of the other nine shares receives 1%.

## How a partner uses Megapot Gold

1. **Purchase tickets:** Request Gold tickets for the campaign's active round. Tickets are assigned immediately. Any required underlying Megapot ticket purchases are completed asynchronously.
2. **Round settles:** After the Megapot drawing settles, Gold determines winning numbers and calculates winnings for each Gold ticket.
3. **Receive payout:** Campaign winnings are aggregated and sent to the organization's configured payout address. The payout amount, timestamp, and transaction hash are available through the round API.
