# Earn by Referring Your Friends
Referrers earn by growing the Megapot community. When you bring new players to Megapot, you earn a portion of their activity for life. Every ticket they buy, every prize they win, you get a cut.
But it doesn't stop there. When your referrals refer others, you earn from them too.

Every person in your referral network is another chance at sharing in a big win. The more your network grows, the more tickets are being played on your behalf.
**Your referral wins a $100,000 prize. You earn $8,000.**
You didn't buy the ticket. You didn't pick the numbers. You just shared a link.
### How Your Network Grows
When you refer someone, they become your **first-order referral**. When they refer someone else, that person becomes your **second-order referral**. You earn from both.
Your network can grow without you lifting a finger. Every time Alice brings someone new to Megapot, your earning potential increases.

### Purchase Fees
Every time someone in your network buys a ticket, you earn a percentage.
* First-order referrals: **8%** of ticket price
* Second-order referrals: **2%** of ticket price
