Megapoints
Users earn Megapoints by playing or providing liquidity
We distribute 100% of the Blast Points and Blast Gold that we receive to users based on Megapoints earned. You earn Megapoints as follows:
Lottery entrants get 10 Megapoints for every ticket (0.001 ETH or 100 BLAST) purchased. BLAST lottery has 3x points multiplier right now from Aug 9-16.
Liquidity providers (LPs) get 1 Megapoints per day for every 1 ETH or 100k BLAST that's deposited in the contract and is not guaranteeing a minimum jackpot.
LPs get 100 Megapoints per day for every 1 ETH or 100k BLAST that's deposited in the contract and is guaranteeing a minimum jackpot (most LPs choose a small fraction of their deposit for this).
Streaks
We reward users who play consecutive lotteries with more points. You earn 1.5x points when you buy a lottery ticket if you've bought at least one ticket in the previous day, and this stacks up to a maximum of 2.5x points for a 4-day streak or longer. Here's how it works:
Take advantage of multipliers
Users can earn more points when buying tickets with a referral code or during our launch promotion period. All of these stack!
View your points
Currently, the points balance on the app does not reflect streaks. Points are calculated based on onchain activity, so these will be factored into our Blast Points and Gold snapshot on the 28th.
Phases
Megapoints program is matched to Blast's monthly Gold distribution phases. Thus, we'll do a snapshot on the 28th of every month to distribute Blast Points and Gold for that month's users.
Overall Megapoints accumulated will have a role someday.
BLAST earns at 2x the rate of ETH
Since $BLAST earns 2x points, users earn approx. 2x Megapoints for their volume.
Buy 1 ticket in either lottery earns you 10 Megapoints per ticket. However, 1 ticket in the ETH lottery is 0.001 ETH or $3.20, while 1 ticket in the BLAST lottery is around half that price, at 100 BLAST or $1.50.
Notes
LPs do not earn Megapoints for the first partial day that they deposit liquidity.
Megapot reserves the right to change the points program as needed for the benefit of the ecosystem, as well as in cases of fraud or manipulation.
