Built something on Megapot? Get your app in front of Megapot players. This page covers three things: getting listed on megapot.io, tagging your purchases so your app shows up on results, and linking your users to the ecosystem page.

1. Get listed on megapot.io

Live apps can be featured on: Listing is team-reviewed, not automatic. To apply, contact the team with:
  • Your app’s name and URL
  • A one-line description of what it does
  • A square logo (PNG)
  • Your _source tag (see below)
  • Your referrer wallet address

2. Set your _source tag so your app shows up on results

Every purchase method takes a trailing bytes32 _source argument. When your tag is on Megapot’s allow-list, megapot.io shows your app’s name and icon on tickets bought through your app, including on drawing results, and gives your app its own page at megapot.io/sources. To show up properly:
  1. Pick one short tag for your app (for example myapp) and encode it as bytes32:
  2. Pass the same tag on every purchase call, across every method you use (buyTickets, random buys, batch orders, subscriptions, auto-compound). Each distinct tag counts as a separate source, so tickets bought under a different or mistyped tag will not show up under your app.
  3. Never leave it empty. Tickets bought with an all-zero _source cannot be attributed to your app.
  4. Send us the exact tag when you apply, so we can add it to the allow-list.
_source is display and attribution only. It never moves money. You get paid through your referrer wallet in _referrers, so set both. See Referrals & Attribution.

Add a link to megapot.io/ecosystem from your app, for example in your footer, FAQ, or “How it works” section. It shows your users that your app runs on the Megapot protocol, with a live view of the shared prize pool and the other apps built on it.
